A dynamic Norfolk-based band who's distinctive sound came about after 5 musicians with very different backgrounds and musical experiences joined forces.

Silver - Vocals
Silver's ability to add ‘jazzy’ sophistication to events made her a hot commodity on the South African corporate entertainment scene and private party circuit alike. Previous clients include BMW, Mercedes Benz, Deloitte & Touche, Sage and Bombardier.
Since relocating to the UK in 2019, she has focused on song writing, studio work and most recently started performing live again.
Career highlights include:
- A 'Naledi Theatre Award' nomination for 'Best Performance in a Musical'.
- Performing in the resident band at an official fan park during the FIFA 2010 World Cup.
- An eight-year residency at ‘Signature’ one of Johannesburg’s most exclusive fine-dining/jazz venues.

Paul - Sax & KeysPaul has gigged UK and international stages alike. A career highlight includes touring the US and Canada coast to coast with one of Canada's first 'World Music' bands.
He has also performed throughout Switzerland, France, Germany and Sweden with Latin American musicians specializing in Bossa Nova, Salsa and Latin Jazz. Most recently he has been working with various jazz-funk and soul ensembles in the UK. 
Phil - GuitarPhil has performed at various festivals, weddings and events around the UK, from intimate acoustic duos to full energetic function bands.
His exceptional versatility (from Hendrix right through to country!) and a very strong background in blues, soul, jazz and funk make him a perfect fit for the Satellites of Soul. |
Al - BassAl has been a professional musician for decades! Offering backing vocals, bass guitar and upright bass he works closely with George on drums to provide the rhythmical heartbeat of the band.
Al studied Double Bass at the prestigious R.N.C.M. in Manchester and followed 4 years there with stints at the Halle and BBC Philharmonic Orchestras. Playing everything from Classical to Funk, Jazz, and Rock has kept Al busy with studio and live work in the USA and Europe. 
George - Drums30 years of playing the drums has made George a versatile drummer, allowing him to master a variety of musical styles.
Starting with rock at the age of 12 and hungry to learn, he soon branched out into other genres. His career has seen him play in numerous bands which has resulted in a wealth of gigging experience. George has a passion for funk, soul and Latin-pop. |
